Paul Jumps A Pan European
Don't think this is just CGI - Paul really did jump a police-spec Pan European over that Nevaro!
Please Note, We Are A School For Novices To Wheelies!The advantage we feel we have as a school over others, is that Paul spent many years in the army teaching the famous motor cycle display team 'The Flying Gunners'. He has taught all the different methods of wheelies, to many different people and has developed a 'nice' way to learn. Have other schools got this behind them? Or are they just telling you how they do it? Our aim is to teach you how to teach yourself wheelies. It's all about the knowledge, the rest follows with time and practice. We do however often see our students hitting speeds of 70mph covering in excess of 100m (a football pitch!) in a smooth controlled wheelie. It's worth asking when you ring around the schools how long is the briefing. It's no good giving you a rough idea in 20 minutes and then sending you off to practice on your own! Our brief is a approximately one hour, but it covers absolutely everything you need to know. Also who exactly is your instructor? where did they learn to teach?, how did they evolve their teaching technique? Beware, anyone can open a school, be careful who you choose! We teach because we enjoy it, it's for more than than just going to work for us!

A busy year for us!
Our instructors will be busy this year with Rick performing stunts in even more blockbuster movies, last year he appeared in the new James Bond film Casino Royale, Batman, Bourne Ultimatum, National Treasure 2, amongst (many) others!, and Paul will be appearing at shows and events throughout the country and is currently looking for high level competitions to enter.
World Speed Wheelie Record 2005Last week saw Paul, along with numerous others, attempting to break the World Speed Wheelie Record up at Elvington, Yorkshire. On his completely standard 1998 R1, Paul recorded an amazing 142mph over the flying kilometre on one wheel! Sadly, although this was good enough to take the existing World Record, Terry Calcott smashed this by 14mph when he flew through the timing lights at an unbelievable 156.5mph on his gsxr1000!
Paul At The World Stunt ChampionshipLast weekend (October 30-31 2005) saw Paul enter and qualify in the World Stunt Riding Championship that was held at a cold Donington park. And while he wasn't the only person who runs a Wheelie School who entered the competition, he was the only one who actually qualified to compete in the main event itself along side people like Christian Pfeiffer, A.C. Farias and the eventual winner, Humberto Ribeiro. Obviously everyone here is absolutely delighted and incredibly proud of our boss - especially as he's now officially the 17th best rider in the world. Congratualtions Paul!
Triumph Rocket IIIThe lads from IQ 18 Films were at The Wheelie School recently with a freshly borrowed Rocket III, courtesy of Triumph Mototcycles, that they wanted Paul to ride for their new film 'Parental Advisory II'. This is a screen grab from what they shot that day... Shame about the number plate!
Once again Paul shows why Europe's leading freestyle road riding film makers always call on him before anyone else, and why The Wheelie School is the best school in the UK bar none!
